William Endicott serves the East Carolina Chapter as our Sub-Dean.
William Endicott is an organist, singer, conductor, and composer who hails from Malden, Massachusetts. He is a graduate student of Organ and Sacred Music at East Carolina University, where he studies with Mr. Andrew Scanlon, FAGO. After graduating from the Boston Archdiocesan Choir School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, William went on to earn a BA with an emphasis in vocal performance from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, and an MM in Choral Conducting from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also holds the Service Playing and Colleague certifications from the American Guild of Organists.
William has performed as a soloist with the Boston Boy Choir, the Saint Anselm College Choir, and the Southern Chorale in multiple countries. Some notable performances include the Berkshire Choral Festival’s performance of Elijah with Craig Hella Johnson, the Quincy Choral Society’s performance of Elijah, the Harvard University Choir’s A Celebration of Bernstein singing “The Chichester Psalms” with Juilliard conductor Judith Clurman, and the Southern Chorale’s Norway Tour in 2018.
William has conducted multiple choral ensembles, both domestically and internationally, including the Saint Anselm College Choir, Chamber Singers, and the Monastic Schola of Saint Anselm Abbey; the Diocesan Festival Choir and Cathedral Choir of the cathedral of Saint Joseph in Manchester, New Hampshire; the Southern Chorale, the University of Southern Mississippi Concert Choir, Southern Miss Women’s Choir, and the University of Southern Mississippi Chamber Singers. William served as Organist and Director of Music at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida before beginning the Master’s degree program at East Carolina University.
William is currently organist and Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church in Washington, NC.
